Native to central Pennsylvania, I studied creative writing at both Susquehanna University (B.A.) and Penn State (M.F.A.). My poems and book review articles have appeared in a wide range of print and online publications. My chapbook (short collection) of poetry, Lo & Behold, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2009. My full-length poetry collection, Evensong for Shadows, was published in 2018 by Resource Publications, an imprint of Wipf and Stock Publishers. I am a professor of English composition and technical communication.
